I had the pleasure of being invited to Diablo Fine Jewelers grand opening recently. What an exquisite gem in the heart of Alamo. The showroom is magnificently designed and the jewelry is unbelievable. There is something for every fine jewelry budget. I purchased a classic pair of gold hoops and they didn’t exceed my budget.
Now I don’t have to fight the crowds and parking for holiday gifts!

For many years I have been shopping at Diablo Fine Jewelers. Ron, David and Julie are all wonderful people. They are knowledgeable, caring and patient. They want to make sure that their clients are happy with each purchase. They have an incredible selection of fine jewelry, many of the best designers. If there is something you ‘have in mind’ that they don’t have, they will bring in options for you. Though they have high end pieces, they also have beautiful, less expensive quality pieces. They recently remodeled the shop and it is amazing! It literally takes my breath away when I walk in. And it’s great to walk in to such a nice shop and get a warm welcome but not the sales pressure. I love that it’s a local shop, non- chain. Though it’s in the small town of Alamo, it is one of the most incredible jewelry stores. And during the holiday season, it’s a great place to avoid the chaos of mall shopping. If you want the joyful experience of purchasing jewelry from genuine people, in a beautiful calm setting…Diablo Fine Jewelers is the place.

I am so happy that I found Diablo Fine Jewelers. While I have worked primarily with David, the other co-owners, Ron and Julie, have been super helpful and friendly. At this point, I have become a walking advertisement for this gem of a jewelry store in Alamo. They are trustworthy, honest, and provide excellent customer service. While they may not be the cheapest, you are paying for quality jewelry at a reasonable price. Recently, I had my wedding ring repaired and they did a beautiful job. They then helped me pick out a new wedding band for my 20th anniversary, which looks terrific with my engagement ring. Lastly, they helped me restyle an eternity ring, which is beyond gorgeous, and helped me design a pendant for a loose stone that I had. I like to support locally-owned small businesses, and I highly recommend Diablo Fine Jewelers.

I have been a satisfied customer of Julie’s for over 10 years , she has always given me great costumer service along with amazing prices. Julie always goes the extra mile. When she decided to venture out with her new partners it was no question weather I would follow her or not.I was blessed to borrow her own diamond bangle bracelet for my wedding . Diablo Fine Jewelers is the only jeweler my husband and I will go to. Dave is absolutely the best and a person we truly trust!! We recently needed a wedding ring repair and there was no question where we would take my ring. We live about 100 miles away from Diablo but will willingly make the drive or have jewelry shipped because we know Diablo does everything with the highest quality and service!
t’s rare these days to find a business that has excellent customer service and is reasonably priced. Over the past 6 months, I have had two things repaired at this jeweler. I used to go to another jeweler; however, when the quote for the repair seemed high I thought I’d try my local jeweler (and why not – local is always better). The quote from Diablo Jewelers was substantially less than their competitor – stunningly so and the quality of the work was amazing. Really impressive…..simply here to provide great customer service and beautiful jewelry (and repair).
We’ve done business with Ron Shelley for over 30 years. He’s travelled a good journey and now has his own place with David and Julie. Great team. Best customer service. Diablo Fine Jewelers… a wonderful addition to a small town of Alamo the most incredible jewelry you’ll ever see this side of the city! Customer service is amazing it has inspired me to look at some of of my old pieces and adding some new pieces to update my collection of jewelry. The staff is professional knowledgeable helpful and not pushy!
Julie is fantastic! We’ve been working with her for years and always found her to be honest, helpful, fair and quick. She’s helped me design things and create new, beautiful pieces with stones I already have. She also does a great job helping my husband picking out things I like and is very flexible if I need to have something changed or exchanged. She had our appraisals done very quickly and is always great about letting us know when things will be ready. Plus she’s fun to be around! I can’t say enough…

I came in to possibly pick out my own Christmas gift this year and received the most amazing service! Ron and team were so kind and attentive throughout the entire process while I shopped! Happy to have found Diablo Fine Jewelers and they will be my go to now for new jewelry and all repairs. They cleaned my rings, while putting in a new watch battery, and showed me that one of my diamonds was about to fall out of my ring. It would have been gone and very costly had they not found it, crisis averted. Today I picked up my husbands wedding ring that had to be repaired and once again there service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Diablo Fine Jewelers for all your jewelry needs!
I went into Diablo Fine Jewelers (per the recommendation of a family friend) last August (2016) shortly after getting engaged to get my ring re-sized. That day I met David who couldn’t have been nicer, and the best part was my ring was re-sized in about 3 hours! Nothing makes a newly engaged woman happier than not being apart from her new ring for too long! Fast forward to this spring, my fiance and I ended up going back in to look at wedding bands, where we spoke with Ron. Ron let me try on tons of bands in the store, gave me advice about what would and wouldn’t look good with my ring, what styles would end up snagging on clothing, etc. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for in the store, but Ron was going to a jewelry show the next day and took down my cell phone number so he could send me photos of what he found to see if I liked it! He brought in a few rings for me to try on, and I ended up finding the one I loved! He gave me a great price and also advised me on the best way to make the band fit with my engagement ring. All that being said, I highly recommend Diablo Fine Jewelers to anyone — we’re only 26 but they did not treat us like they didn’t care about us or thought we wouldn’t spend enough, they didn’t up-sell us or anything, and the service truly couldn’t be better. As long as I’m in the Bay Area I’ll continue to use DFJ as my jeweler!
